  1935 Silver Bowl with Fish Scale Pattern – Mappin & Webb

  dated 1935, featuring an elegant fish scale pattern around the body. It carries full, clear hallmarks, and despite some surface wear from past polishing, it still presents really nicely and remains a strong piece overall. There’s visible evidence of over-cleaning, as is common with older silver, but the design detail is still very much intact, and it’s a lovely example of Mappin & Webb craftsmanship from the interwar period. This one features a detailed little scene of the Three Wise Men – classic Devlin style: tiny, intricate, and beautifully made.
