dated 1935, featuring an elegant fish scale pattern around the body. It carries full, clear hallmarks, and despite some surface wear from past polishing, it still presents really nicely and remains a strong piece overall.
There’s visible evidence of over-cleaning, as is common with older silver, but the design detail is still very much intact, and it’s a lovely example of Mappin & Webb craftsmanship from the interwar period.
A great addition to any silver collection – especially if you love timeless design with character and history.
