A bold and sculptural Czech art glass vase, designed by František Koudelka for the Prachen Glassworks around 1980. Standing at approximately 22cm, this piece is visually striking, with a strong cobalt blue upper section that gradually fades into a fresh, almost citrus-toned pale lime base.
The vase’s surface is covered with a field of graduated glass protrusions — subtle and fine toward the rim, becoming more pronounced and textured nearer the base. The result is a vase that plays beautifully with both light and touch, with colour and texture in constant conversation.
