This original Mouseman ashtray is a classic piece of 1960s craftsmanship from Robert Thompson’s workshop in Kilburn. Made from beautifully adzed oak, it features the iconic hand-carved mouse on the side—tail and all.
The tray has a distinctive shape: oblong with rounded corners on one end and clipped corners on the other. It’s hand-finished, with a scooped-out section for pins or ash. The wood has a lovely, rich colour and smooth polish that shows off the grain beautifully.
