This is one of Stuart Devlin’s limited edition Christmas Surprise boxes – number 273 out of 500 – and this one’s themed “Kings of Orient.” If you’re familiar with Devlin’s work, you’ll know he released a special Christmas box, each containing a miniature “surprise” sculpture hidden inside. This one features a detailed little scene of the Three Wise Men – classic Devlin style: tiny, intricate, and beautifully made.
It’s crafted in silver with that warm gilt finish he’s known for, and it comes in its original box. Condition is excellent – no damage or tarnish, and the surprise is complete and intact.
A lovely piece if you collect Devlin, enjoy vintage Christmas items, or just appreciate well-made British silver. These are getting harder to find – especially boxed and in such nice shape.
